Wildflower family Sessions

I still remember walking out into the field last year with three little seed bags and three barefoot boys. It wasn’t graceful — there were fights, spilled seeds, someone definitely tripped over a hose — but it was real. And now, that field has become one of my favorite parts of spring: our wildflower mini sessions.
We don’t just pick a spot and wait for flowers. We plan, we plant, we water, we weed. It’s a mix of cosmos, zinnias, calendula, and whatever else looked pretty in the catalog when my kids picked packets at the farm store. Some areas bloom better than others. Sometimes it’s wild and overgrown. But that’s part of the charm — it’s real.
This space isn’t some rented field or public park. It’s home. It’s ours. And when you book a session here, you’re stepping into something we’ve been growing for months. That matters to me. It means every photo you take home has roots — literally.
These sessions are bright, airy, and full of movement. Perfect for little ones who want to twirl, pick a flower (or five), or run barefoot like mine do. And because we’re on our own land, there’s no pressure to rush. We take our time and let things unfold naturally.
