Every year, there’s one session I look forward to more than any other: our Christmas PJ minis. They’re cozy, simple, and full of the kind of real joy that makes you stop and breathe a little deeper — even in the middle of the chaos that is December.

These sessions are quiet little moments in a season that’s usually go-go-go. No pressure, no stiff posing, no fake smiles. Just your kids curled up in their pajamas, maybe with a favorite stuffed animal, a cookie in one hand, and the sparkle of Christmas lights in the background.

We keep it simple on purpose. A soft, neutral bed setup. Twinkle lights. Cozy textures. A space where your little ones can just be themselves. And yes — the cookies are real, and they’re made with eggs from our own chickens. Because that’s how we do things around here. Homemade, heartfelt, and full of intention.

I created this session because I wanted something for my kids that felt like more than just a holiday photo. I wanted something that felt like a memory. I wanted to remember the messy bedhead, the little fingers dusted in sugar, the way their eyes lit up when they saw the tree lights. And now I get to give that same kind of memory to you.

The best part? These sessions are quick and fun, which means they’re perfect for little ones who don’t love being in front of the camera.
